Radio Upfit Technician/Installer
We are seeking an Emergency Vehicle Technician to install a wide variety of emergency vehicle equipment such as lighting (LED), sirens, radios, push bumpers, partitions, weapons mounts and other equipment as needed by our customers in a wide variety of vehicles for police, fire and public safety agencies.
Qualifications:
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license for Ohio with safe driving record.
- This position may require ongoing or intermittent use of company vehicles.
- Departmental testing may be administered during interview.
- A criminal background check will be completed on selected applicant if a current one (less than 3 years old) is not on file.
- This is a safety sensitive position and is subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
Desired Qualifications:
- 12V Automotive Electrical Systems – 1+ year experience
- Strong Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools
- Experience and ability to accurately use measurement tools
- Ability to read and follow directions
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Shop maintenance to include but not limited to maintaining a clean working area, minor inventory control, and other duties as assigned by management
Job Responsibilities:
- Install, wire and troubleshoot all electrical components including but not limited to harnesses, cables, relays, circuits and a variety of different electrical components
- Ability to use hand, power and air tools as required
- Read and interpret directions, drawings, diagrams, orders or reports
- Test product to ensure meeting specifications
- Read and interpret installation instructions, assemble parts and use appropriate tools to install components
- Disassembly and reassembly of a diverse group of vehicles
- Fabricate parts, modify existing equipment and/or brackets to ensure proper fit & placement in vehicle.
- Perform quality inspection of vehicle upon completion.
- This position frequently stands, bends, lifts, walks, stoops to perform daily work tasks.
- Must have own basic mechanic tools, some tools are provided.

Technician for Electronic Security Systems
Qualifications:
- Requires a Valid driver's license.
- This position may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle.
- Selected candidates must possess an acceptable driving record in accordance with our policy.
- Must pass background check after offer is extended.
- HS diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs preferred.
- Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
- Experience reading blueprints and site maps.
- Excellent customer relationship and communication skills; verbal and written.

- Vendor experience in multiple Access Control and CCTV systems

Responsibilities:
- I Security Technician with strong commercial building experience
- Install, service & maintain Intrusion, Access Control, CCTV & Video Surveillance systems to include running and pulling cable; programming and calibrating equipment; adhering to codes, regulations, and standards.
- Maintain, service and/or install systems and components, verifying system performance, maintaining records.
- Prepare for installations by reviewing installation documentation, gathering equipment, supplies, and tools.
- Cross-train on other aspects of Mobilcomm Communication Systems
- Verifies system functioning by testing equipment, connections, and signals while identifying and correcting problems.
- Maintain customer relations by resolving concerns and answering questions.
- Maintain safe and secure work environment by following safe practices.
- Keep supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
- Locate and alleviate trouble with damaged equipment or wiring; Prepare trouble order forms to report temporary repairs
- Readjust equipment, repair or replace inoperative equipment and test for operation.
- Read blueprints, building and electrical plans in order to complete equipment repairs.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
- Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Field Service Network Technician
Primary Role
Our organization is a two-way radio communication service provider looking for a field service technician who can offer quality support to clients over the phone, via email, through live chat, and in person. You will be expected to troubleshoot software and hardware issues to determine where repairs need to be made and then plan those repairs with your supervisor. The successful applicant will also be responsible for assisting in installation of new systems and various projects. The qualified candidate should have a focus on computer information systems, information technology, or computer science and should have an understanding of basic electronics.
Responsibilities include:
- Troubleshooting computer software and hardware issues, make repairs, and perform scheduled updates.
- Maintaining working components through repair or replacement.
- Provide technical support to clients through various channels of communication.
- Respond to network connectivity issues and resolve both wired and wireless communications systems.
- Maintain current requirement for provided training on specific products including online and travel for on-site training.
Skills and qualifications required:
- Must possess a basic understanding of computer networks and the cabling that connects all equipment to the network.
- Have a strong background in server management and software installations and upgrades.
- Have exceptional customer service skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to be insured.
- Initiative and drive to complete tasks quickly and efficiently.
- Interpersonal skills to work well within a team environment and assure staged equipment operates as designed and is correctly implemented.
- Require the ability to interpret a problem and determine the best way to resolve it. This requires critical thinking and research as additional information for repair / installation may be needed that is not provided.
